Thank you, dear. I was checking ebay just last night and while there were at least 4 such tour shirts available, all were too small as usual. It's like that everytime it seems. Maybe they didn't manufacture XL, much less XXL, in '81 for that particular shirt that tour? I'd buy a new "vintage look" one if they actually made them exactly the same way on both sides. That is not the case. A small thing I have noticed is some of the vintage knockoffs have virtually the same front with the US flag inverted. The stars at the tip of the tongue not the upper lip.(And no US map on the back.)I need the stars right at the uppr lip like the original because ....well because that's the way it should be, and in some small way it simply looks better to me.
Coolest Stones tee I own (and I have about 10) is the long sleeve black one I bought at the MSG show in 2006 with the long red forked tongue on the front and the MSG show dates on the sleeves. That forked tongue is wicked looking and always makes people do a double take with fearful eyes. lol. I don't wear it around small children for that reason. ;- >
I'll have that '81 beauty one day, Ronnie.
