I remember this strange year as a kid. First we had first free elections in Poland. I still remember my parents talking at home that the democratic opposition will not not win as the communists will change the results of elections. Then it happened and during the summer everyone was talking about freedom, democracy and stuff like that. Then on November the Berlin Wall came down and everyone was really excited and believe there is no turning back. Of course later the problems of daily life killed the enthusiasm just like in this Pink Floyd song "On The Day The Wall Came Down". Maybe the best symbol of it was the shitty concert of The Wall by Roger Waters ;-)

Anyway it is cool to remember those days. It is scarry it has been already 20 years - now I feel really old!
