I only once seen it that hot, years ago when I was visiting Tucson, AZ and it was 115°F one day and 112° the next, then we had this insane sand storm hit the next day. I don't know how anybody can live where it goes over 100° everyday! I also recall how when I lived in NY, every summer the heat index (they called it the THI in those days) was well over 100°, even if the temps were in the 90s. At least here in Colorado when it does hit the low 90s, the heat index is always, and I do mean always, several degrees less because humidity readings below 10% do that. Only problem is when it is that dry, your skin feels real weird (tight), but still, it is better than sweating like a damn pig.
