Overall, I really like Hackney Diamonds and one of the feelings of I have for it these days is simply gratefulness. Where it stands, where it ranks among other Stones albums for me? Well, its still too early to know. But I like it. A few really good songs, and at least one or two songs that could find their way on to future compilations.
I do agree very much with Keno that rating an album song by song, versus "as a whole" can produce very different results. We can find that when forgettable tracks are added into a calculation, that the result may not be what we preficted.
