I then voted for Piggies, but maybe incorrectly as I went for it as the better anti-establishment song lyrics etc. but I do prefer Taxman and think its better, so maybe should have gone with that!

The bottom line for this question is.... what Beatles song challenged authority best, so going by that, I think you answered that in the best way, since you voted for the one that you feel had the most anti-establishment lyrics and no, the question wasn't asking for your favorite song.

Really all of these song lyrics are pure anti-establishment with one better than the other, yet I half feel I voted for the wrong one too! "Piggies" is perhaps the most anti-establishment lyrics wise, yet I went with the Lennon's "Revolution" song instead cause I like it a bit better. So I'm the one who voted wrong and I should change my vote!
