I suppose I don't know the answer to that, I guess you'll just have to find out, preferably blocking out all outside input, bias, and interference, focusing solely on the debut at hand, and preferably with added benefit of a certain "enhancing" material, known to provide enjoyment and insight as well as a short-circuited short-term memory!
If it still doesn't do it for you after that, just listen to another stellar debut I forgot about: The Verve's A Storm in Heaven, which is a beautiful mix of pink floyd and the stones I would say. And perhaps even better than Arcade Fire's Funeral, though I'd have to think about that one.
