THE USA JUST LAUNCHED STRIKES AGAINST SYRIA (SSC)

It would be nice if a cruise missile landed 3 feet from Syria's President, because the man is pure evil and we need to get rid of people like him in this world.

However, I am not sure if a few strategic strikes here and there are going to accomplish much in ending the civil war and putting a stop to the endless carnage and suffering if innocent people there. Only time will tell.

I just hope that we not, as that old Stones song says 'Blinded by Rainbows'. Peace is not easy to achieve in these complex situations.
