I first heard this years ago, and pretty much had forgotten about it, but it is worth another listen. This song really is iconic, even for us serious fans...though it never tops any of our best-of lists it is never very too far down the list after that. Every once in a while alternate versions should be enjoyed!

I know the mono is the official version, but I like the raw stereo wherever possible when it comes to the Stones. This 3rd take features a very "Buttons"-like vocal, at least on the verses, and I must say it has made my day. I like having my day made. Always remember not to turn your backs on treatin' people kind.
