RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Beatles on XM Sirius ch. 18

...just give them a call and they'll explain everything you need to have and how it works. Their very friendly and want your business.

I used to be "them", LOL! I was low on money a few years back and needed to make some extra cash, so since I used to be in the 800 business (amongst other things), I got a work at home job answering Sirius's 800 line. I tell ya, I've worked 800 calls for over 100 different companies (at one place I worked, I answered calls for about 80 different companies all at the same time!), yet SiriusXM, which I did for a year, was the best one I ever had out of all of them, and it wasn't even close.

Normally when you answer 800 customer service lines, on average, 90% of the calls are cool, and maybe 10% aren't (complaints, refunds, etc.). Well, for guys anyway, since woman have to put up with male sex perverts calling them just to harass them (it happens), calls that male 800 operators don't get. But anyway, with SiriusXM, almost 100% of the calls are all cool and positive; in the year I did it I could count on my hands the number of complaints I got, and I only recall 2 very rude callers, that was it! So that tells you something positive about their service. Yet I always felt their prices were too high, but I never got any real complaints about that, and for half the time calls I had were to just reset people's radios for them, or activate brand new ones.

But Manny, if you get the service directly from them, you do need to have a special satellite radio to pick up their satellite feed, one that you can either buy from them, or get from other places. Then they got many different packages you can choose from, and some stations aren't even music stations. The thing that always got me was that most people seemed to have SiriusXM in their cars and not in their homes. Plus back then it wasn't available on your cell phones, today it is and I understand many have the app for that.

BTW, I did call Dish today about them not having the Beatles' station on yet. They told me they would look into it and felt that they would be getting it soon. I sure hope so!
