Gosh, I'd only be in middle age right now if I was to live as long as her!
They asked her 2 years ago when she was 115 what she ate everyday, and she stated she ate only 2 eggs a day - and cookies, and that was it! It seems that all of the people who live past 100 have that in common, eating very little each day. Living to 100 and being in excellent health would be great, but if you can't ever enjoy eating food, then what's the use? Gosh, I only eat 2 eggs a week - at the most, and even cookies, maybe I have them 2 or 3 times a week. I more than likely eat more soy than anything else, and some say that's a good thing to do - while others say soy is poison. But I dislike most veggies that are good for you, I totally hate greens - which is what you're suppose to eat the most of.
When I was younger I did try to watch what I ate, but as a old man I don't care anymore, since let's fact it, nobody lives forever and you may as well enjoy your food and what you eat at my age. But I still think it's a good idea if your in your 20s and 30s to watch what you put into your body, since you still have a long ride ahead at that age. But by the time your in your 60s, you're not suppose to be around for another 20 years anyway, so enjoy your food to the fullest I say once you made it that far.
