My picks:
Stones Poll 1: 'Child of the Moon' - I was kind to it and gave it a 6. But when you make a video that most of your fans never get, something is wrong with that video. I'm thinking now that I should have maybe just rated it a 4 instead. It's just too weird for me I guess.
Stones VS poll: A Bigger Bang IMO is light years better than TSMR.
Rock 1: Neil Young should have been my top pick, how can he not get in with those guys?? But since he's in already twice, and I only get one vote (just like you), I went with Bob Welch instead. Fleetwood Mac never would have made it big in its third incarnation without Bob Welch leading the band on in it's second incarnation, after Peter Green left. He not only kept them going, he kept them going strong with several big hits while he was in the band, all of which he wrote and sang the lead on. Bob was hurt real bad when he was snubbed and not allowed in the Hall, and he had a right to to feel that way. He killed himself a few years after that, not because of the snub, but because he had become paralyzed from the waist down after spinal surgery went wrong, and he was then confined to a wheelchair. But to have to go to his grave knowing that he was snubbed by the Hall, I'm sure didn't lift his spirits any.
Rock VS poll: Both songs are great indeed, and I had a hard time choosing, but I ended up going with ’Midnight Creeper' by Elton John.
Beatles Poll: The White Album is light years better than the overrated SPLHCB. That's not to say that I don't like SP, I do, it's just totally overrated, IMO.
