If I recall, a bigger deal was made of the album cover - or should I say "album covers". The Stones caving in to the censors - once again, really sucked and made them look bad - again! You think Jagger would had learned from doing that in the past! But the PG cover that was also offered bombed sales wise while the nude cover sold very well, and which won our poll question when we put both up against each other here in 2013 (the nude cover won the poll with 83.3% of the vote!), which proved fans won't cave in to censorship, too bad MJ did.
As far as the music inside the LP went, looking at what is on a live album's song list means nothing to me at all, and I think most others, since the songs always sound different live. The bottom line on any live album is how the live music sounds and not the songs themselves. I agree with Manny, the Stones have put out way too many live albums, and I myself have never been a big fan of live albums anyway, unless they are bootlegs, which is different. I will always play my studio albums any-day over live stuff. Now I know some fans prefer live stuff over the original songs, and that's fine, but how many different live takes of one song do we really need to hear played live - again?
