They had the best D in the entire history of the NFL last season, and no, no other D before them were better or ever existed, including some of those great past D teams from Pittsburgh and Chicago, etc. The only reason they won the SB was their D, I mean, they had no QB for the entire season. Manning was totally out of gas and of course hurt for half the season and not playing. Then they had backup Brock Osweiler, who yes, was a good backup QB, but no more than that! Houston totally wasted their money on him this year, as he is an average QB at best and they aren't going to win anything with his average talent behind center. I was pleased when he left the Broncos, I sure didn't want him as the starting QB this year.... although who they got there now, Trevor Siemian, more than likely won't be much better than Osweiler. The guy who clearly won the job and played the best for them in the preseason was Paxton Lynch. But they don't want to rush him, as he's learning a entire new O this year. But I expect he will be starting by mid season for them unless I'm wrong about Siemian. Can they win it all again without a true starting QB once again? Well this year's D is almost as great as it was last year, but the O is much improved at RB, no question, and no worst at QB - perhaps much better. You can tell Lynch is going to be a superstar one day, but this year? Time will tell, but I expect more good things for my Broncos, maybe their D ins't as great as last year, but it's still the best in the NFL this year, and they could win it all again! I mean, at this point in time, who's better?
