In normal election years, yes, that is a true statement, but this one ins't a normal election. The Republican party didn't want him as their top pick because they knew he would lose and bring the entire ticket down with him, and he's turned out even worst than what they expected feared.
Even if a miracle took place tomorrow for the Republicans and let's say Trump stops insulting everybody, and he starts to actually be nice to people, and evens starts to kiss babies (like most politicians do) instead of bitching about them and throwing them out of his rallies, he will still lose, since he can't recover from what he already said about Russia, Vets, Women, immigrants, minorities, and the millions of people he has insulted.
He needs to win over at least 2 of these groups to have a chance of winning: the Black vote (no way in hell is that going to happen), the female voters (again, no way in hell this will happen), the Hispanic and Latino votes (one more time, no way in hell this will happen), and the Military vote (they usually go with the GOP, but no way in hell this year). He isn't going to win any of those. He still might win the angry old white man's vote, but many of them are Vets, so he's even losing out now with some of this group, too, and I can promise you, he sure as shit won't ever win this old white guy's vote!
So there's really no way he can or will win. The only states he's ahead in right now, going by recent polls, are states with few electoral votes. Plus now he has the balls to say the upcoming election will be rigged, oh really? He's saying people against him are going to cheat and vote 10 times each, can you believe this jackass even said that?! He just knows that he already lost but he can't say it, well, he won't ever admit that he will lose fairly, in his twisted mind he can only lose if people cheat against him.
The only reason the Democrats are saying that Trump could still win, is simply to make sure everybody who plans to vote against him, does, and that they don't decide to stay home on election day and don't bother to vote, since they might think their vote ins't needed anymore. Yes, if most people who are against him did that, he could win by a small margin, so it's a smart thing for the Dems to say, to get their voters out for sure. But I'm not a Democrat, and my bet is that most of my fellow Independent voters will vote against him, too.
I really can't wait to vote against this trash-heap of shit, and I bet many others feel the same way. We will get out and vote against Donald "Mussolini" Trump come November, Ronnie!
