Trump is exponentially worse than Romney was, playing to people's worst fears and prejudices, while assigning scapegoats and pitting groups against one another. You brought up a good point, in that Trump is a grievance candidate who bemoans the state of affairs in the world, insists that he will "fix" them, but provide no explanation as to how it will be accomplished. "Law and Order" is a prime example of this all talk with no details strategy. All the while he contradicts himself and fails miserably time and time again on fact check analyses. His supporters don't seem to care however. Trump plays exceptionally well to ignorant people, and there are plenty of them out there. His knee jerk behavior during this campaign has demonstrated a complete lack of impulse control, and I fear that he will get us nuked in a crisis situation where cooler heads are required. I still don't think he will win, but the fact that he is heading up the ticket of a major political party is just plain scary.
