I don't see how it would "desecrate: the legacy of Zeppelin" if it's done to honor them, and according to them, it is. Plus they are giving all money they make off the album away to cancer research. So that's a good thing in my mind.

However, I can see why some people would look at them as having no new ideas, to go do an entire cover LP of songs by just one band and cover just one of that band's album, as is the case here. It would be like the Stones in 1980 doing a entire cover album of just one of Muddy Waters' album. Would have Stones fans wanted to see that back then, or ever? I won't, I would think they were out of new material if they did that.
