I would never use those over-the-counter glasses. They are not meant specifically for your eyesight. Investing in a good pair of glasses made especially for you is money well spent. Your eyes are the only ones you'll ever have.

Wait until you have your vision problems fixed before reading the book. Reading a few pages at a time won't do it justice. It's a truly excellent biography which doesn't just tell his life story, but also tries to actually explain who BJ was. A lot of research went into that book, especially the beginning about his formative years.
