Rather have Keith from the vaults.

I guess that says it all really. I think Keith demo's from the sixties and seventies would be a whole lot more to my taste. I find the solo albums hard to take because he wrecked his voice and over a course of an album it gets grating. He can't play as good as he did back in 1988-92 either so musically so I'm not expecting it to be as good as the Winos outings. Never been a Fowler fan.

I'm not picking on Keith, I simply can't stand to hear singers who fuck their voices up with cigs and booze. Dylan on down. Like I know early Marianne Faithful is pop, but I like it much more than the later stuff she is acclaimed for. I can't abide by her broken voice.
