Well none of us should be surprised by this. The article said he was different from the rest of the band members. He was working on solo stuff back in the 60's. I'm sure that didn't set well with the glimmers. After all he choose to leave and pursue other interest. Yes it would have been great for him to still be with the band, or at least have done more songs on the recent tours. But he left and the big machine that is The Rolling Stones moved on. Really can't blame them for that. Should he have been treated better?? Probably, but that's not the kind of people the glimmers are.
