I only just heard this very sad news on the radio. I recall last summer when I put together a poll for best sax in a rock song, and Bobby's name just kept coming up to list, and not just for the great music he made with the Stones but on so many other recordings by others, starting before he ever met the Stones, in the early '60s with Dion on "The Wanderer". After that poll was run, Bobby landed 5 times in the top 10, including the top spot for his work on BS.

RIP Bobby, you were the best damn Rock sax player ever, bar none!
