Loveland (elevation 4,997 feet (1,523 meters) is the second most populous municipality in Larimer County, Colorado. The population of the city was 76,378 at the time of the 2020 U.S. Census, making it the 14th most populous city in Colorado. The city is not near the Loveland Ski area, which is not named after this city, but after a Colorado mountain pass. Loveland has a humid continental climate. It has an annual snowfall of 47.0 inches (119 cm). The hottest temperature recorded in Loveland was 106°F (41°C) on July 19, 2022, while the coldest temperature recorded was −31°F (−35°C) on December 22, 1990. |
