Yes, that bugs the hell out of me too. I posted, perhaps on the fabled Old Board, that it was credited to Mick Keith Bill Charlie & Lil'Mick on the '94 PPV video from Joe Robbie stadium. The statute of limitations on song copyrights (correct me if I'm wrong, brother Nanker) is 50 years which means it was up for grabs, and maybe Stones Inc bought it. If so it's poor taste to claim the credit. AND they're asking for major bad hoodoo stealing a song from a guy who sold his soul to the devil.

Robert Johnson recorded two versions of that, and they make a shiver run up your spine. They were recorded June 20, 1937, in Arc Studios in Dallas Texas. So long ago that, if any of the Stones had written it, it musta been Bill.
