Canandaigua (/ˌkænənˈdeɪɡwə/; Utaʼnaráhkhwa in
Tuscarora) is a city in Ontario County, New York. Its population was 10,576 at
the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Ontario County. It's elevation 750 ft
(230 m). The city is surrounded by the Town of Canandaigua. The City of
Canandaigua is on the northern end of Canandaigua Lake, one of the Finger Lakes,
24 miles (39 km) southeast of Rochester, 68 miles (109 km) west of Syracuse, and
93 miles (150 km) east of Buffalo. It's climate is classified as Köppen Dfa,
which means having a hot summer continental climate. Hottest ever temperature
was 101°F/8°C set in the month of August. The coldest reading ever was set in
January at −17°F/−27°C .
Westfield is a town in the western part of Chautauqua County, New York. The population was 4,513 at the 2020 census.
Elevation 754 ft (230 m). Westfield is also the name of a village within the town, containing 65% of the town's population. This town is accompanied by vineyards, gorges and historical buildings.
