Yes, it has gotten worst for everybody now. But back in the '60s and '70s, really up until the mid '80s when the bs finally stopped (for the most part), if you were a longhair, you got messed with for just about anything. By the mid '70s it was even worst than being black, because by then authorities at least started to leave the older, and female blacks alone. But if you were a young black man, or a longhair, you were still being treated like a criminal until you proved you weren't one. Of curse, with some cops today, that s still the same deal, and I'm not going to repeat my story about being pulled over and harassed by a pig in New Jersey in '99 simply for driving while hippie.
