we should see a new album by the end on 08...abb was a great album and did sell ok given the fact that most rock bands don't sell a lot any more...almost 3,000,000 world wide...and if they want to tour again it be nice to have a NEW CD.and i think a new album will be far better than ABB..i think you will see a album with the other stones more involved in its making..
FUNNY, many stones fans didn't like their new albums when they were 1st released...LET IT BLEED got bad review when 1st released, EXILE was not taken as a great album when 1st released...EVERY ALBUM that has turned into classics were not liked by many fans not untill a few years after their release.
most of their war horses were not big hits...
iorr, sfm, mr, etc..
The best thing about the stones is that they are still alive and WANT TO MAKE GREAT NEW MUSIC...

Even from the start of the band they did it their way...
if they wanted to copy bands like the beatles to sell records they would have released more sweet love pop songs not songs like, STONED, I JUST WANT TO MAKE LOVE TO YOU, NOT FADE AWAY,LITTLE BY LITTLE, GROWN UP WRONG, ITS ALL OVER NOW, HEART OF STONE OR LAST TIME..Then the boys took it one step more, to not be the same sweet pop band with songs like DONCHA BOTHER ME, MOTHERS LITTLE HELPER, THINK, OUT OF TIME,PAINT IT BLACK, UNDER MY THUMB, and to help sales with all the girls out there they released
STUPID GIRL!!
Even as a band in 1963 when england was into jazz, Brian, Mick and Keith were into blues..
SO you will see a new album and YES, many fans like 20000man will HATE THE NEW ONE TOO! ha...
p.s it reminds me...many fans who love the Jones years of the stones hate the Taylor years and the fans who love the Taylor years hate the WOOD years..well you can't please everyone...
