I agree with Jake.. XM is the way to go.
I used to work in radio and got out because I wanted a job that had more security. Radio is soooo f*cked up. For me, there are some songs I NEVER want to hear again. That's the bad part about being in radio. I also became very critical of production values and shear talent. Which in the 90's became a secondary skill after looks. Another ex-DJ friend of mine argue about this occasionally but I believe MTV ruined music forever. Kids/youth are so narrow minded anyway MTV has only contributed to this. On there you see only a small collection of their selected videos. On TRL you see the videos MTV/Viacom decided to put on there because when would you see the other videos to choose from? You don't because they don't play videos anymore. MTV pushed and pushed rap/hip-hop and the mere fact that rock sort of sucked from 90-92 didn't help. Rap was p0ushed forward and we are where we are today.
The days of having the Stones, Springsteen, Culture Club, Lionel Ritchie, U2, Genesis, GnR, any other artist all played together in a current type situation are over. Compare your Live Aid line up to your Live 8 line up and besides the London gig, didn't it all suck?
