Keno made a good point in the previous post, and I would like to add on it.
Keno said that "radio is totally fucked up now that big business runs it". Thats 100% true. What happened to all the good rock n roll stations, that played the stones, beatles, springsteen, seger, petty, zeppelin and more.
Radio now is 80% to 90% commercials. At times i hear a good stones tunes, and then what do they follow up with it, a commercial. It goes song, song, commercial, commercial, commercial, commercial, song, commercial, commercial, etc... This really sucks, why would anyone want to listen to the radio anymore. Every place (where all you gassers are) and where I am, where there is one maybe good station we put on the FM. And for AM forget it, thats usually only for news. The only time i put the radio on is for my alarm, so that way I can hear a good song (hopefully) to wake up too, if not its some BShit song, or a commmercial on hemmoriods or some lame ass product, we can care less about.
I am curious on how much radio is actually listened to besides construction workers, and office workers. I know at my work (grocery store), I hear the same song at least once a day, its some lame songs, the only time i hear something i like its "Waiting on a Friend", which is a great song, without a question, but hearing it twice a day, and about 20 times a week, no offense gassers, im sick of it. Im getting off topic. But I am trying to make a point though, that station at work, is a satellite station, and the cable my bro pays for has similar stations, and they play the same song over and over. That goes for FM, AM, and anything.
What I would like to see happen, is hearing different music on the radio, and less commercials, I find that why would you turn on your radio if all there is commercials, and the same songs over and over, when you can turn on your computer and listen to your stones collection without repeating a song, and commercials.. I would listen to radio again if they got rid of a lot of commercials, and more rock n roll....
