:: I listened to this song yesterday on my tape of
"Stones A to Z" which I taped while in
Sacramento this year while waiting for the Concert
to start, a radio station was playing all these
great songs. I feel the same way you do about
this song.

: I just want to take advantage of this board, to homage one of the most underrated Rolling Stones tracks, which, as far as I'm concerned, is one of their Top 10 songs.
: This, my friends, is LET IT LOOSE off Exile On Main St.
: I know, I know, most people won't agree with the Top 10 thing. But it sure is one of their best songs in musical content.
: Listen to it in your mind: The exquisite arpeggio in the intro and then Mick singing: "Who's that woman on your arm" (You can actually picture a '72 Classic-Mick singing the tune with his lips outwards and his eyes slightly closed.
: Now, move to this part: "Carrying, carrying the bedroom blues...oooh oooh"...the drums, then the horn section (climax) with the same arpeggio pattern in the background and a few fills. Then Mick singing with the horns keeping the same pattern: "In the bar you're getting drunk...Oh yee-i-eh!".
: Now, still with the same horn pattern listen in your mind to the peak of the song: "Maaaaaaaybe ya friend saaay, I'm just a stranger, a face you'll neeeeeeeever see no mooooore".
: Play this song loud as soon as you're able, and feel the Stones themselves in all their splendour crawling through your veins!
