: : Grandmaster Flash do a great song called "White Lines", anyone else heard of it?

: I heard Duran Duran's version of it, which may not count for much!

It's a Velvet Underground song, at least the one that the psuedo-hipbecausetheyhungwithAndy Duran Duran covered for their "comeback."

As for the rap thing, there was a song that could be defined as rap by what has been said was the first rap group, The Last Poets or something like that, on the Performance soundtrack. The film was completed in 1968 even though it was released in 1970. By the way, has anyone seen that Donald Cammel documentary? Is it out on video yet?
