: Now Dark Side of the Moon - there is a classic album!

: And by the way Roger Waters is God.

Sorry if get puke on your shoes, but I just can't listen to Pink Floyd anymore. Cleveland radio plays every cut from every album, and they're in heavy rotation on three stations. I even bought Dark Side because my old one was old and worn. I now own a played once (side A anyway) lp with all the posters and stickers in perfect condition. I wouldn't say Roger Waters is God, but he certainly WAS Pink Floyd.

I didn't mean to imply that any one person was picking on others. I just read all the posts and then replied up here. I have no idea who your Mr. Classic is, but we have one, too. He plays the same old Zep - Floyd - Aersomith mix on Saturday nights that they play the rest of the time when he's not on the air. So I try to listen to the college radio stations.

But I know our Mr. Classic has heard Rocks Off, All Down The Line, Memo From Turner(Betty Korvan used to play that late at night when I was a kid - if I'd have known it was the Stones back then I'd have a considerably bigger collection now!) and several other tracks that aren't on Hot Rocks. Singles are what made the Stones, and I like them a lot. But I think the album cuts and the general public's acceptance of them is what has allowed the Stones their unprecedented lengthy career.

You guys have a great week - I'm off to the beach, and I'm arming myself with all the Stones cd's my wife will let me fit in the van!
