sorry for all the negative vibes my e-mail started. i think i've been a little misunderstood. it was just a proposition, and i needed to express how i felt about this album. the horns at the close of loving cup...the thudding beat of ventilator blues...the drums kicking in on rocks off after the bridge. i didn't want to be the thought police, and i use "hippie" in inverted commas because it's only a joke term. i jut wanted to hear what other people think.

after this weekend my tastes have shifted once more, and i am currently deeply involved with the acoustic bliss of BEGGARS. Does anyone else think Jig-Saw Puzzle is just about the best track on the album? REMEMBER...a suggestion, not a certainty being forced down your throat.

let's drink to the salt of the earth
