I saw Mick Taylor at the House of Blues Friday 7/9 and I was not disappointed. The sound was great the band was tight. His voice was better than I expected. He looked very relaxed on stage although he kept his eyes closed for most of the show.
He played 'You Got To Move' first for about 10- 15 minutes awsome slide intro then all off his solo stuff. It all sounded great with all kinds of Mick T sounds like the Heartbreaker sound, 100 years ago, All down the line, Time waits for no one.
also alot of Santana type jamming. For me it was like seeing another guitar god, right up there with Clapton, Page, Santana, VanHalen, they all have there own unique style and sound and Mick Taylor has his. He also did 'You Shook Me' and ended with
the Can't you hear me knocking jam wich was an outstanding end to a great night. I even got him to sign my Sticky fingers cd. For all you Mick Taylor/ Stones fans this is a must see.
