I have a question for you Cindy: Why do you only believe some books you read but not others. I also don't want to see people just make a fast buck off of Brian's death with some phony story.

Thanks for the welcome, Keno. Boy I sure jumped in, didn't I? :-)

Anyway, about the books: I have 49 books on the Stones, and every one of them discuss Brian's death to some degree. Aside from a couple of fairly recent bio's on Brian, notably "Who Killed Christopher Robin" by Terry Rawlings, most of these books say the same thing in general: he was high/drunk, should not have been swimming, and drowned. I suppose in that sense, I tend to believe the majority, which doesn't necessarily make it right, mind you! I have simply formed an opinion after all these years, (and all these books) and that is what I tried to say here.

I do stand corrected however: after flipping through a couple of books, I see that there are some differences in the various accounts from that night.

I would not be so opposed to the continuing speculation on Brian's death if there was some meaningful things being done about it. As far as I can see, there are just a bunch of books being written that line someone's pocket, as opposed to *really* doing something to find out the truth. None of this benefits Brian, and continues to drag his family through hell.

Lastly, I'm leaving Thursday for London to attend the Wembley shows. I'll also be attending the 30th Anniversary Memorial for Brian in his hometown of Cheltenham on July 3rd. If you all are interested, I'll post a report upon my return, and let you know how it all went.
