Somewhere I read that right before he died, Brian recorded a song with John Lennon called "Go To the Mountain" or something like that. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, what happened to the song?
Hi all, first time poster here...
I don't believe all that stuff about Brian being murdered. Have you ever really read that coroner's report? I've read that his heart was 3 times the normal size, and that his liver wasn't in that great of shape either. Also, he was asthmatic, and with the combination of drink and drugs in his system, he should never have been swimming.
Personally, I think this ongoing debate about this man's death -30 years later, mind you- is useless. There have been so many books put out by people who keep this speculation going, and in my opinion they just want to make a buck. I wish we could just let the poor man rest in peace!
Brian was not in the best of health at all, either mentally or physically. I think he f***ed up and drowned.
Anyway, I have read several things about music that Brian had recorded before he died. Even after the Stones, he remained insecure and thought that his music wasn't any good. Stories say that he erased most of it. If anything does exist, I've never heard of it.
