I understand the objective of your "new Keith vs. old Keith" idea better now, but the reason I found it a bit silly was that it's the type of thread that's really been like troll bait around here.
I had a friend over yesterday that had never heard MSG 3 from the B2B tour. After the third or fourth song he said "Keith is fuckin' rocking his ASS off!" So now it's taped and he's got his own copy. He doesn't hang out around here, and has no idea about this particular thead. He just got blown away by Keith's recent playing.
I'll concede that Keith is playing differently, but he's getting to be like Muddy Waters or B.B. King - the older he gets the more amazing he seems to be.
