I agree that ER is a better album.

The cover art is heat sensitive photography; it is much more interesting than the VL cover art. It can take a while to figure out who is who. It definately deserves some prolonged inspection

If anyone is in need of an "Emotional Rescue" it's a "poor girl in a rich man's house.." Where did all the cynicism go in VL, and SW??? The Stones' cynicism is the best part of their lyrics. Sweethearts together?? Please!!

Although Slipping Away has a cynical feel to it. At any rate, the Stones are at their best when they are engaging in bad behavior!! Maybe they'll write some really bitter and cynical songs in light of the current issues, ie. divorce, low slow sales in Britian, young boys killing eachother...etc., etc.
