I know some drips dissed it but it was a great song(on record). The Stones are not as strong as they were 15 or 25 years ago because that market that they play to is not as unified as it once was. I am very gald they lasted as long as the have, but for purposes of people who are stricktly ranking the music, I think it diminishes them. Also, I think Baby is a pretty mediocre song on record. They did ok with it live, but it really isn't an interesting song, it has a boring everything, and a pretend disco bass line to boot. I did like it at first but that was mostly because it was a new song. After the initial interest faded I felt no need to hear it again.
