All one needs to do is look at the studio logs, or read a book or two about the song's recording and have a copy of that interview with BJ's old man.

- Country Honk was recorded months after HTW, a fact. It did not come first.
- Mick Taylor is on both CH and HTW.
- Brian's father never said that Brian wrote HTW. I got the interview. What he said was that Brian wrote the guitar arrangement for the song. He said that Brian played it for him, before it was recorded and he told his old man he wrote that part only. He did not write the lyrics.
- No question, Brian played guitar on what should have been the final cut for HTW. The song was recorded on March 10 & 11, 1969. Those were the last two days Brian was in the studio with the band. He refused to come back to play after that. The Stones kept sending limos to his home and he would send them away. By May the Stones realized BJ wasn't coming back and got ahold of MT. On June 5, MJ, Keef and Charlie went to Brian's house to fire him and while they were there, MT was in the studio alone and was left instructions from the Glimmer Twins where to add his guitar. Brian's guitar track was erased and the take of the song from back in March was used with MT's added riff. That is all a fact, hell, just check the logs!
