: One of the perks of seeing the Stones on the current tour, with its "up close and personal" format, is being able to actually make eye contact with the band.

There is nothing like making eye contact with Mick. When I had my front row seats in Albuquerque for the B2B show I made eye contact with him 4 different times. The first time (during the second song) was a very long look at me and then at my friends (we all look(ed) like true longhaired freaks along with our full Stones gear). After looking us all over he gave us all a nod of approval. I do mean approval, he kept comming back to our spot during the course of the show and just hanged around us - we were next to the ramp, not the stage, so before the show we only hoped he would stop in front of us, just hoped he would just stop once, there was not a lot of room for him to hang on the ramp in front of us. But he did. He would come back and sing and hang there several times and we all got that repeated eyecontact from him. After he finished singing SMU in front of us he started back to the stage and with the crowd roaring he said in his mic "thank you", I yelled back to him "NO THANK YOU!" He turned back at us and smiled, he was looking the other way when I yelled out at him but he heard it and knew what group of fans it came from. I'll always remember how personal Mick was to everyone in the first row that day. Eye contact IS great and Mick IS the MAN!!
