Show was excellent. Band tight and having fun. Rehashing some of the sentiments posted on this board before, it was incredibly obvious last night that Mick, Keith, and Charlie are the band, and that their back up people are also very tight. Following his out front and well executed playing on the VL tour, it was painful to watch and listen to Ron Wood attempt to keep up. He's a Stone and I don't want to dis him, but it seemed like the other guys are carrying him. He just does not seem to get off on his leads. It was interesting to see the dynamics of how he was treated by the other band members... they played and moved around him, almost as if he was in the way, which is a shame. Is this part of the "act" or is this what it's come to? I hope he gets his stuff together. Otherwise an excellent show, highlighted by "Moonlight Mile", all 3 small stage numbers, and pounding renditions of "YGMR","Respectable", and "Paint It Black", which was far superior to the VL tour version.
