: Ahhhhhh. I see.Let me querey you this Fleabitten one.

Who you callin' a querey? Not that there's anything WRONG with that, but...oh. You means you wantsa axe me a question. OK shoot.

:Does this type of music deserve it's very own musical catagory in a record store?

Oh, absolutely. Everything MUST fit into a pigeonhole. Otherwise I gets all confused. Just think what absolute chaos would ensue if there were bands which, say, played Rhythm AND Blues. Or Country AND Western. It would be the end of the world. Let's say, just for argument's sake, that there was a band that played blues, rock, funk, reggae, soul and country, as well as hybrids of all of the above. Not that such a thing could actually happen, but...where would you put such a band?

:Or could it very easily be incorporated into another heading?

Hmmmmmmmmm. Yes, Exotica could be combined with Tex-Mex in a category called Texotica. There would be albums by the Sir Douglas Quintet and Esquivel.

I think those Leonard Nimoy albums might be Texotica too.

And the soundtrack to "Son of Artpig", which has its world premiere tomorrow (Saturday) night in Burnham PA. Be there or be square.
