I seem to remember reading that Keith said Marianne dropped the wrong tape off, and lost the good tape of that songs. It is a weird mix, but it was supposed to be the "ultimate freakout" at the time. The sleeve of the 45 is worse than the song.
I get in a mood for it once inawhile and it makes me wiggle my millenial butt all over the place. The big horns were a foreshadow of good things to come, so I won't knock this one much.
Have you ever stayed awake until the end of She Smiled Sweetly? Does it get any better?
