: : : Thanks Keno. The Sitar was what I was thinking of, and I didn't like it period, not matter who
: : : played it.

: : An almost complete list of the instruments Brian Jones played on Stones' records: guitar, harmonica, harpsichord, piano, dulcimer, organ, marimbas, bells, koto, trombone, saxophone, recorder, African flute, French accordion, orchestral harp, trombone, tamboura, sitar, moroccan drums, mellotron, autoharp. Am I forgetting anything?

: Clarinet?

: Compare to George Harrison: guitar, sitar.

Right on with that comparison to George. I wonder, though, where he plays clarinet (except on the movie soundtrack he did "A degree of Murder"). I've always thought the instrument on "Dandelion" is clarinet, but some of the experts tell me that's a soprano saxophone. Who knows. He could play both.
