: : Although some here claim its way too slow a song, I love his vocals on Coming Down Again. His best even vocal came on backup for Wild Horses. Dead Flowers was a great back-up vocal too. IMO, I can think of several great backup vocals from Keef that turned out better than his leads.

: I agree his backgrounds were better than leads for most part. His backgrounds were incredible on Sticky Fingers! The last verse of Brown Sugar is just killer. Wild horses and Dead Flowers are excellent too. Rocks Off was great. Things kind of tailed off from there, but his best backgrounds really made those songs sound raw which is what I always liked most about the Stones.

: Best leads: Happy and Wanna Hold You.

: By the way, I think he orchestrated the "who who" or whatever on Sympathy. Who the hell would think something that goofy would sound so cool?

Actually, the story on the "whoo whoo" on Sympathy is that it was ANITA who got everyone in the group to come around the mic and add the "whoo-whoos" one of the small little pleasures of the SW tour was WYMAN actually helping out with the whoo whoos, first onstage vocals for him since probably sometime in 66
