It means: Least Common Denomitor. Stones song beloved by Yahoos who only know two or three Stones songs. Not in the same class with JJF, BS or HTW. "make a dead man come" line stolen from Tom Waits ("Pasties and a G-String") who stole it from Lucille Bogan ("Shave "Em Dry"). Although I'm not crazy about the song, it was an INCREDIBLE opener in '89. It IMMEDIATELY left everyone know that, after 8 years of being written off, the Stones were BACK and taking no prisoners. I guess I've enjoyed it everytime I've heard it live. And I laugh everytime I think about the obscene amount of money they made selling it to Microsoft.
Is it the last Warhorse? No. They have another one in them and it's better than SMU.
