Little Richard was glam when Mick was still in school. Mick in his eye makeup is much more well known, though. I think Mick said he was copying the New York Dolls, but what year did they start?
I think Velvet Goldmine is a good movie. It's kind of hard to find anybody to like in the movie at first, but it gets better.
Even though it is about Bowie's career, a lot seems borrowed from the early Stones, as well. You almost think it's Mick and Keith sometimes, and there is a character called "Stone" who is kind of like Bowie and Mick combined, nowadays.
