Tell me that you think that the Stones are doing ALL they can to make sure their show is the best...They're not. They ARE SO GOOD that they CAN rest on their laurels - THAT'S MY POINT!!! I would have loved to have seen what woulda happened if everyone was healthy and loved the music. That's all. You can NOT tell me that Keith and Ronnie are playing up to their potential and you can NOT tell me that Mick is loving singing Brown Sugar anymore. The shows are fucking great - but this band has/had the potential to rip yo' fuggin' 'ead off! Period. Everyone pisses and moans here about - "We need Mick T. Back...Ronnie sucks...Keith's piano thing in Honky Tonk is canned...BLAH FUCKING BLAH...!":) But I, the humble Syph say that the act is canned and that they aren't playing up to snuff all the hypocrits come out of the woodwork. IT'S NOT FAIR MAN....BOOOOOHOOOOHOOOOO! Anyway, all I'm saying is that if things didn't transpire they way they did for the last 25 years, this band might not have to be "competing" with acts that are no longer together like the Beatles etc. - it would be a closed topic. The Stones chose to coast, and they've been doing it for years. I still love to see 'em coast - but I'd like to see 'em fly one last time.
