: What is STONE ALONE?
Stone Alone is two things. One, its the title of Bill's first solo album released in '75 and two, it also the name of his book about the early days of the Stones. This is what the Stonesdoctor is talking about. It is a very good book, I recomend it.
: Additional remark: But Wyman got the credits for In another land. And there are also songs with credits like Jagger/Richards/Taylor or Jagger/Richards/Wood
Jagger & Richards now give credit to Ronnie when he helps out on a tune. But up till he joined, they would not do this for the others. Mick Taylor is said to have left the band because of this. Bill, Brian & Charlie came up with the music for songs like JJF & PIB when Mick & Keef were not in the studio, yet they did not get credited. Almost all other bands credit their members who write the music but back then it was not done in the Stones. So that was a problem, but not any longer.
