: : Brian most definitely played sax on two Beatles numbers. I have the book "Beatles Recording Sessions" which is the holy gail of Beatle books. Its been a few years since I read it but I know one of the songs he is on is You Know My Name (Look Up The Number). On Yellow Submarine Brian sings backgound vocals and it is also Mr Jones who is clanking away on the glasses that you hear in the background.

the other Beatles song featuring Brian on sax is "Baby Youre A Rich Man"

..and yes,its THE Brian Jones on all of thopse songs - not another musician with the same name

: I think Brian can be heard singing backup vocals on Honky Tonk Women---sounds much like 'It's All Over Now'..

Brian doesnt play on HT Woman at all...either on guitar OR backing vocals

he was in the studio when it was first worked on in March 1969,but by the time they recorded the released version (late May 1969),he had efectively left the band. Mick Taylor's guitar overdub is on the released version
