: : And, I've got the boot BlueStones, with bunch of their blues stuff from the 60s and early 70s. It has what the Fingerprint File a says is a rare 45 version of Parachute Woman. It's got some stinging guitar on top of the chug a lug guitar on the released version of that. Anybody else ever heard this and/or know who is playing it? Cool version.

: I think I've got it on Brian's Blues, which is a Living Legend product. I'm sure the Luna cd is better, I'll have to get it. Stinging is a great description of the guitar on that version.

"Stinging guitar"....hmmm that sure sonds like Jones to me. Plus the fact that it was edited out of the official release makes me almost certain it was Brian without even hearing it. I don't know why the Stones persist with this lie that Brian Jones didn't contribute anything to Beggars Banquet. Why do they hate him so? What are they so afraid of? To continue to badmouth this guy after 30 years...maybe they are embarrassed by the fact that their best material was recorded during his tenure.
